Yes.

Re: the Nathan Turner Tastemaker Tag sale at One Kings Lane on Saturday...

I went, I saw, I did a little bit of damage.

I bought the black Flores chair (loved the red one, but it was already in someone else's basket and I have two red leather chairs anyway) which will go next to the fireplace in my bedroom...
...and this huge 33" by 42" framed photograph of an English cottage circa 1900, which I love love love. I think the 1930's ghosts living in my four cracked leather photo albums are going to like it too.
And now, my lovelies, I must go sew. I'm in the home stretch and think/hope/pray that at some point today, I actually...cross fingers...might be...knock on wood...dare I say it?... D-O-N-E.

So happy you have your chair! By the time I was able to get to the computer the red & black were on hold and I was truly hoping that you were the one holding at least one of them! Congratulations! Whew!

The English cottage picture is so perfect...I can just see the little "Sprouts" playing in the enclosed walled garden...hmmm, enclosed walled garden... even more perfect!

Happy sewing!!!

Bravo on snagging the Flores chair. At least with black you will never tire of it & will fit in nicely anywhere. I love the English cottage photo; mysterious and wonderfully huge. Best of luck getting D-O-N-E!

Cheers!

I was waiting with bated breath to learn of your new acquisitions. I fell in love with the English Cottage photo as well and am elated that YOU walked away with it.

Good luck - you are in the home stretch!

I thought of you when I saw that chair! Hoped you'd grabbed it for yourself. It's fabulous.

I can't believe you are almost finished!! What will you do with your days now??

Nice finds, so perfectly appointed to living with you.
One of my dear friends, while speaking on the phone told me of a four letter text that came across her phone. When I asked which 4 letter word, she told me d-o-n-e was the word. I said, well that is the point, something short and sweet. Then she said that she had been known to text a good "War & Peace"- I laughed so hard it hurt.
Just wanted to keep you in s t i t c h e s.

Yay! Yay! Yay! I'm SO glad someone I know got that chair.

The good news is it seems like the event was a huge success . . . but, I guess the bad news was everything I wanted was sold by the time I logged on at 8:07am.

tartanscot: You just made me laugh out loud! I know, the good stuff went lickety-split. There were a couple of other things I wanted, but someone had faster typing fingers than me. :)

Gorgeous chair, Lisa! Perfect next to your fireplace, I bet.
And pleased to hear that you are nearing the end of your sewing.

Hi Lisa,

I am loving your embroidery + poetry combination. I have also just looked at your purchases. The thatched cottage is of course famous and immediately recognised by me as Anne Hathaway's cottage (Shakespeare's wife) just outside Stratford on Avon. I passed it today going to a lecture on Bess of Hardwick!
Great -its lovely!!!

To market the new line, scarpe Hogan was launched in various colleges and universities. Selected schools were signed up for exclusive Hogan sponsorship. The jerseys were to be matched with the Dunks that will be provided for by hogan donna . The production for the Hogan scarpe uomo was put on hold for some time until Hogan uomo re-launched the line.
