How ambitious...I was expected a few pages but they've gone and done a whole issue! I will forever be jealous of Eddie Ross's kitchenwares collection I think. Now I just need to upgrade to a larger screen so I can read the print...does that make me sound frightfully old?
Other than my own secret obsession with collecting and sorting "magazine tear sheets"..I love that it is all on-line. Makes me want to jump right on in my screen. pve
My heart pitter pattered when I read it on Sunday morning. I love it! And the ad's link directly to the resources websites. Brills! I am doing a Lonny/Empiric shopping guide this week - stay tuned.
Oh! And I read your list on the W Editors blog and saw the bird claw candle sticks from Jayson home. They are made by the same people as the dish you purchased a few weeks back and we have them too. Although I can't seem to keep them in stock!
Great idea. Great photos. Needs a tough copy editor to cut and polish the words. A mouse-over option to view product sourcing would be nice, too -- maybe they've planned that for future editions. A very impressive first outing.
isn't this wild? my friend just emailed me the lonny link yesterday and i took a quick 'flip' through ... this truly is a sign of the times indicating further how connected we are in this cyber space ... i am feeling a little like pve in that it isn't quite the same as sitting curled up in a comfy chair and musing over a magazine and pulling out favorite inspirations ... i guess it will be 'screen capture' images now and tucked into our electronic file instead ... that's ok ... it is nice to see an old friend once again ... cheers! prairiegirl
Hi Lisa, I just discovered your truly *delightful* blog (boy have I been missing out!) and send my thoughts to your husband's family. You clearly bring so much joy to so many readers, and I feel lucky to have come across your witty, lovely little kingdom on the blogosphere. Now if only I could find some of that lavender jam...xo!
Bigbang: So happy you made it here...I will buy some more lavender jam in London over Xmas and give it away via the blog...thanks for the suggestion. Stay tuned! xx
