Road Trip - Marfa and Points Beyond

There were deserts of sand...


and pillars of light...


and waves of heat...

and meals on wheels...
and flickers from the past...

and mile after mile of endless possibility.

Out here, it's America.

I'm on Interstate 10 and headed home to Hollywood.

    looks part Jules Verne, part Jack Kerouac... the strange lonely aesthetic of the desert highways are a far cry from the bohemian libraries and gardens of your beloved Bloomsbury, but still so beautiful and mysterious and so American. What would Virginia Woolf have to say about such a place?
