Home Again, Home Again

We flew in yesterday.
Give me a day or so to get my head on straight and I'll be back with a full report, I promise.

Scotland was dreamlike.
(On a hike, Gargunnock, Scotland, August 2010.)

And the Shetland Islands...?
Surreal, endearing and completely unforgettable.
(Baltasound Hotel, Island of Unst -- the most northerly hotel in the United Kingdom. August 2010.)

Welcome Home! I discovered your blog while you were away and stayed up way to late reading EVERYTHING! I am an artist living in N.C. and I am loving your needlework. I also love the many layers in your home...just so much goodness. I cannot wait to see what else you have to say. xoxo

ooohh perfect timing!! I have plenty of photos and memories of the mainland, but any great photos you have of the shetland and orkney islands would be fantastic.
